Main Features:
- Fantastic Warmth to Weight/Size Ratio
- Built-in EPS for Versatility
- Reinforced & Anatomically Designed Footbox
- Reflectatherm & Snugpak Softie Filling
- Snugpak Expander Panel System (EPS)
All of the sleeping bags in the Elite range use the Snugpak EPS (Expander Panel) system, making them extremely versatile.
With the EPS not deployed, it looks like any other sleeping bag.
The EPS merely acts like a chunky zip baffle.
Deploy the EPS and you add between 10 and 22 cms extra sleeping space. This allows more air to circulate keeping the bag cooler.
The temperature management ability of the EPS makes the Elite range very versatile sleeping bags.
Fantastic Warmth to Weight/Size Ratio
All of the bags give fantastic warmth for their size and weight.
This is achieved by using a synthetic filling of Snugpak Softie Premier and Reflectatherm.
Reflectatherm is a very breathable, metallised fabric created using space age technology.
It is designed to reflect heat and retain warmth, and provides at least 15% additional warmth.
Reinforced & Anatomically Designed Footbox
The reinforced and anatomically designed footbox means that you can sleep with your boots on, which is a useful feature for military personnel, and for some types of angling and hunting.

Sleeping Bag Ratings
Snugpak sleeping bag temperature ratings are based on independent tests and customer feedback. They assume you will be in a good quality tent, will be using a sleep mat, and will be wearing night clothes.
If in doubt and assuming you have the space, we would recommend you choose a bag slightly warmer than you think you will need.
