Death of John Humphries

We, along with The Countryside Alliance, are sad to report the death of John Humphreys.

A lifelong countryman and CA member, John was a staunch supporter of the Alliance's Shooting Campaign.

He used his weekly column in the Shooting Times to expose practices in shooting which others feared to raise, such as big bags and high birds.

His contribution to the shooting community through his books and columns is immeasurable.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family that he leaves behind.
