Snugpak Sleeka Original Jacket

Nicknamed the Softie, the Snugpak Sleeka Original Jacket is a mid layer insulated jacket that is very warm and incredibly lightweight. Designed for the military, it is ideally suited to many outdoor activities.

The jacket has a full length zip that extends to the top of the stand-up collar. The cuffs are elasticated and the collar and hem have draw cords to help keep out any draughts and keep the warm air in. Two zipped side pockets and a zipped inside security pocket are also provided, as is a stuff sack for when the jacket is not required.

Water Repellent & Highly Breathable Soft Shell

It is a softshell, meaning that it is not waterproof, but is windproof and very breathable. The Paratex Light shell has a water repellent finish with a spray rating of 4, so will keep you dry in light showers. And after the shower it will dry very quickly.

This shell is also designed to cause moisture to wick across a much larger surface area. This allows it to evaporate much quicker. The fabric is highly breathable, capable of transmitting 12 litres of moisture per square metre in 24 hours.

Snugpak Softie Premier Filling

The filling is Softie Premier, which is a synthetic insulation. It is made using the latest, leading edge technology which has resulted in a softer, finer and more durable insulation.

This insulation has resulted in the jacket having a comfort rating of -5°c with a low rating of -10°c. It is very lightweight, as low as 650 g for the Small, and will pack away very small into the stuff sack supplied.
