The versatility provided by the EPS (Expander Panel) system not only provides an excellent temperature management system, but also makes the Elite range the perfect choice for the larger person. The EPS adds between 10 and 22 cms of sleeping space when deployed.
Warm & Comfortable 3 Season Sleeping Bag
The lining of the Softie Elite 3 is made from Paratex Light which has been designed to wick moisture away fast. It is very tough, but still soft to touch and is also highly windproof. This means that it is excellent at keeping the cold air out and, just as important, keeping the warm air in.
This coupled to the jumbo neck baffle, and mix of Softie Premier and Reflectatherm for the filling, make the Elite 3 a very warm and comfortable 3 season sleeping bag.
The relatively small pack size (19 x 21 cms) and weight (1.4 kilos) makes this comfort level even more impressive.

They assume you will be in a good quality tent, will be using a sleep mat, and will be wearing night clothes.
