Lightweight Aluminium
Like the other poles in the hiking range, it is a three section pole made from 6013 Aluminium Alloy. It has a dual density, ergonomic handle for a firm and comfortable grip. The handle and the dual spring antishock do make the pole a little heavier, but it is still only 285 grams. It measures 66 cm at its shortest and will extend to 135 cm.
On/Off Antishock
It has a dual spring antishock system to cushion any jarring on the pole, and the antishock can be switched on and off with a simple twist of the pole. Antishock is particularly beneficial when walking downhill and on very hard ground. A dual spring located inside the pole has a cushioning effect when the pole is pushed against anything solid. The antishock should be switched off when not needed, especially when walking uphill, as some energy is wasted otherwise.
