Online shopping is great. No hassle getting the car out, negotiating the traffic into town, finding a parking space, walking
miles round the town centre trying to find what you want at the right price, tearing up the parking ticket you got because it
took 15 minutes longer than you thought it would, and then struggling home in the rush-hour traffic.
Online shopping gives you better choice, usually at better prices - and it feels like Christmas when that big parcel arrives
with all your shopping. The fact you paid for it a couple of days earlier doesn't seem to detract from that feeling of
excitement.
BUT…
You don't get to touch and feel what you are buying first. You can't try it on for size. And you can't look the assistant in
the eye when you ask them questions about the product.
