Compact 3 Season Sleeping Bag
Considering its warmth, the Softie Premier II has an extremely good pack size of only 20 x 19 cm (fully compressed). Even with this small pack size, it is rated as a 3 season bag with a comfort level of -5 ºc.
Snugpak Softie Filling with Reflectatherm
This superb performance is due to the use of Snugpak’s exclusive, Swiss built Softie insulation combined with their own ‘Profiling’ no stitch through construction technique. This construction helps to increase loft and eliminate cold spots caused by traditional quilt lines.
Reflectatherm is also used to reflect heat and retain warmth. Reflectatherm is a highly breathable, non woven metalised layer, which provides a lot of additional warmth and yet adds very little weight, and is undetectable by touch.
Snorkel & Zip Baffles for Comfort
The Softie Premier II is an extremely warm and comfortable sleeping bag, and has a face hugging snorkel baffle, and chunky zip baffles with anti snag, ‘easy glide’ draught seal.
The lining is made from Paratex Light which is highly breathable, lightweight and windproof. It will wick moisture away from the body and so help to keep you warm, dry and comfortable. The outer layer is made with Paratex Xtreme which has a great balance between performance and aesthetics.

Sleeping Bag Season/Temperature Ratings
Snugpak sleeping bag temperature ratings are based on independent tests and customer feedback. They assume you will be in a good quality tent, will be using a sleep mat, and will be wearing night clothes. If in doubt and assuming you have the space, we would recommend you choose a bag slightly warmer than you think you will need.
